I really like Luna, but couldn't use it for fear it would always be 'luna-tic'

I love Luna but kinda in a hypothetical sense, I wouldn't actually name my child that.

I prefer Laura to any of them.

Op it is a lovely name but calling it unique is a stretch, if you look at stats it is rocketing. Also, it's very Instagram trendy if you get me.

I have a 'unique' name and wanted nothing more than a common name growing up.

Luna definitely not unique. I know 2 under 5, and I dont have a big social circle! Also (while I like the HP connection myself!) I think everyone will assume you are a potter nerd, will that annoy you?

Have you tried the website for charting naming trends, its called something like deeper green? You can look for names starting with L and see how popular / how many kids with that name etc.
