Hey all!👋

I'm new to Mumsnet and I have come on to get some advice.. I have to beautiful girls Heidi Rose aged 6
Elsie Mae aged 3
And I am 23+5 weeks pregnant with baby no3 which we found out was another girl around 2 weeks ago, since then we have been racking our brains with names and we have come up with some we love but we just are not 100% sure they are;

Dollie
Tallie
Delilah
Dottie

Really need your help and opinion on what you think😩 driving me crazy!! thanks a lot

Dolly/Dollie isn't great for a grown woman. She would need to have a standby joke ready for whenever she introduced herself or laugh it off in some other way. I like Delilah best out of your list. Dottie and Tallie are perhaps more cutesy than cute iyswim

Lew1993 · 01/04/2019 16:00

Delilah Smile

pansydansy · 01/04/2019 16:04

Delilah is love and I love lilah as a nickname.

pansydansy · 01/04/2019 16:05

Lovely

Orangeday · 01/04/2019 16:08

I like tallie best. Great name 👍

Sexnotgender · 01/04/2019 16:09

Delilah is the only name you could feasibly use for a grown up.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 01/04/2019 16:36

Delilah is the best fit.
Other ideas.
Heidi Elsie and Poppy. Daisy. Annie.
Molly. Sophie(I'd suggest Nancy but could be too similar to Elsie.)

jiggsymalone · 01/04/2019 16:57

I really like Tallie. I also like Cassie which I think would flow with your list and the names of your other children.

MikeUniformMike · 01/04/2019 17:00

Dottie

mummymonica · 01/04/2019 17:01

@Awwlookatmybabyspider I really love the name annie!

Dottie !!! ❤️❤️

Peachbubble · 01/04/2019 18:04

I vote for Dottie

OutAndAbouter · 01/04/2019 18:31

Oh I'll vote for Annie.
Dottie and Dolly just make my teeth itch. Delilah I like but doesn't have good connotations.

SilverGiraffe7 · 01/04/2019 20:35

I once taught a 'Tallie' whose full name was Natalia which I've always thought was pretty.

JustAnotherMillennial · 01/04/2019 20:39

Yup I would vote for Annie.

Delilah is nice too.

I am in the no camp for the rest though! Especially Dolly. Makes me think of Dolly Parton!

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 01/04/2019 20:50

Maggie?

mummymonica · 01/04/2019 21:29

Such a hard decision! I love all the names...

Disfordarkchocolate · 01/04/2019 21:31

Tallie for me, its lovely.

MondeoFan · 01/04/2019 21:32

I like them all but prefer Dottie overall

MondeoFan · 01/04/2019 21:33

I know an adult Tallie spelt Tally and is short for Tallulah

Jessabean · 01/04/2019 22:06

I would go with either Annie or Delilah! Love both of those names! Dolly does make me think of Dolly Parton and you'd probs get people assuming you're a fan- nothing wrong with that though imo!
Dottie/Dotty and Tallie to me are more nn than names themselves and Dottie in particular I'm not sure how would be on an adult.

Bellaposey · 01/04/2019 22:34

I would vote for Annie if it's an option! Your eldest girls names are beautiful and I don't think Tallie, Dollie or Dottie are in the same league. What about Matilda with Tilly is a nickname?

Sophronia · 02/04/2019 00:41

Annie if it’s an option! Otherwise Delilah. Dollie and Dottie are ok as nicknames for Dorothy, but not as full names.

Bumblebeesmum · 02/04/2019 00:47

Heidi & Elsie are beautiful names & Delilah goes really nicely
The others aren’t my taste at all

Bumblebeesmum · 02/04/2019 00:48

Also Heidi Elsie Dottie all starts getting a bit rhyme-y
