Help!! Turkish baby boy name meaning

Hi, we’re thinking of naming our DS, “Neylan”. It appears to be of Turkish origin and means “fulfilled wish”. However, several websites list this name as a baby girl’s name while a few list this as unisex.

Just wanted to check with fellow mums who know Turkish whether this name is suitable for boys.

Any help appreciated!!

You might have issues with people knowing how to pronounce it you know.

Is it like "knee lan" or "Nay lan" ?

It's very predominantly a girl's name. It would be a bit like calling your son Ruby. It's not that there are no male Ruby's, but it's primarily thought of as a girl's name.
