Another vote for Alana, the best name!
And I’m neither trashy or from the US 
The only thing that annoys me, depending on where you’re from is that I’ve learned on mumsnet that lots of people say Alana wrong. It should be pronounced ‘a-la-na’ For some very odd reason no one in a Scotland/Ireland has difficulty with that but some people in England seem to put and r in it 
then it just sounds ugly!
