Amalia
Sienna

Not keen on Amalia
Sienna is nice and 'safe'
I really like Callie, its beautiful. (Callia is pretty but she will spend her life spelling it to people)

Sienna is getting very popular. I know at least half a dozen under 6 - far more than I know little Amelias so I'd go for Amelia personally. I think sienna will date whereas Amelia is timeless. Not that keen on Callia but Callie is nice.

Callie for me (Callia is a genus of beetles).

But I prefer Cassie.

I like them all so would be a tough choice for me.

The only problem with Amalia is it may get mistaken for Amelia.
I know a little girl called Marlia which is really pretty.

Sienna is pretty but I know so many!

I think Callia would be my first choice as it's different but not too "out there".
I also love Callie.

Callie is cute.
Have you thought about Amaya as an alternative to Amalia? It sounds softer to me.
Sienna is nice but popular so it depends if that bothers you.

Thanks all, keep the opinions coming.

Sienna was my original choice for the last ten years but I have watched it becoming very popular in the last few years which does put me off. Also I see the name Sienna is used for a tanning brand and in furniture naming..

Callia is quite different but I think it would just be for the birth cert. We would call her Callie day to day

Not keen on Amalia, I think you will get a lot of "Amelia" and both spelling and pronunciation issues.

Sienna is pretty.

I really like Callie but to me it says "young girl". I would go for a more classic name like Caroline or Catherine on the birth certificate, and call her Callie.

I met a lovely little girl called Amalia today and thought it was really quite ‘different’- really pretty. I like Callie too.
