I'm preferring adaline at the moment but spelt different to yours.

Nonameyet1 · 07/03/2019 12:02

Cecilia nn Cece is lovely

Lexilooo · 07/03/2019 13:12

Clara always reminds me of Long Distance Clara from Pigeon Street, and there is a risk I may start singing her song......

However a short lived early 80s kids tv show is unlikely to cause your daughter any issues and clara was a pretty cool role model - female long distance lorry driver with a bubble perm so go for it!!!!!

Shadow1234 · 07/03/2019 14:53

Sophia, Clarissa and Rosanna are all absolutely gorgeous. Sophia is very popular at the moment though, of course.

Like Clara, but also overpopular at the moment, plus the pronunciation issues (like HalfBloodPrincess , I prefer Clair-ah to Clah-ra, but most people in the UK seem to use 'Clah-rah' now).

I think Cecilia is pretty, and quite unusual too.

Cecily is cute, but prefer Cecilia, as Cecily seems somehow very 'Victorian little girl in white smock'. Or maybe that's just me.

My least favourite is Adeline, although it's OK. Is it 'adda-leen' or adda-lyne' ? Does make me think of adenoids a bit though, although that's probably silly.
