Opinions on top choices

Think we have settled on our top choice for boy and girl. Big brother is James. We are not finding out so need an option for both. My husband and I have quite different tastes so to agree on something is a big step forward. Just want opinions on these, anything we might have missed etc:

On a personal level I've always preferred Cara to Clara though. That L sounds clunky to me, no idea why!

Both are good names and work with brother James. Personally not a fan of Gabriel though it seems generally liked these days and it works in the middle.

Both lovely and a bonus that Clara can't be shortened to anything. Nobody shortens William anymore either, so that's great too.

Well the primary boys at our boys do shorten it to Willy.

DS1 is 6 and in a class with 2 Williams, and has another friend with the name. The boys don’t seem to think of the ‘willi’ Connotation, and two are Williams, and the other, Will.
