Mira, might be spelt differently but immediately sound wise is "as in Hindley"

(Google Myra Hindley if you are young)

Lara as in Croft but is ok

Dahlia is nice but I personally wouldn't choose it

I agree it's murder, murder, tomb raider. I would go for Lara. Definitely not Mira.

Dahlia is too PG Wodehouse, Dahl-ya or Dale-ya?
Mira - shower
Lara - Croft, Dr Zhivago.

Lara is the only one I'd use.

But Mira is pronounced meera surely, so a different name from Myra? I don't see the problem, it's nice.

I imagine that if there was no such person as Myra Hindley, Myra itself would be a popular name right now, as it seems to fit right in with Mila, Maya etc that are currently fashionable. Will the MH association ever go away? People didn't stop calling boys Ian did they? (Although not currently popular).

Lara is gorgeous though, I agree. Dahlia is a bit eccentric somehow and not particularly attractive.

Mmm Dahlia makes me think of Black Dahlia as people touch on above and I'm not sure how you want Mira pronounced. I read it as Mee-ra rather than My-ra

Note overly keen on Lara either.
