I am pregnant with my first baby and struggling to decide on a name. I love so many. Her middle name will be Frances Bluebell(e). My grandad was Frank and my mum is Frances. Bluebell's hold a lot of special memories for me.

Eliana
Ellie
Ella
Annalise
Anna
Hannah
Madeleine
Maya
Kayleigh
Kaya
Chantelle

Hi,
So definitely not;
Ellie, Kayleigh, kaya and Chantelle. I’m sorry but they give me chav vibes, though this could just be my own thing.

I would go with Anna or Madeleine.

guiltypleasurenamenerd · 09/02/2019 01:35

( Ella and Maya are overdone)
And Hannah is boring and 90s in my opinion.

halfwitpicker · 09/02/2019 01:37

Anna for me

mineallmine · 09/02/2019 01:38

Anna Hannah or Madeleine. I don't like any of the others.

Thequaffle · 09/02/2019 01:53

Anna, Hannah or Madeleine all lovely
Ella and Ellie are ok.
Chantelle is a bit chavvy imho

SleepingStandingUp · 09/02/2019 01:58

Eliana - my favourite
nn of above Ellie
nn of above Ella

Annalise - quite sweet
nn of aboveAnna

Hannah - bit boring but fairly solid and not to common atm

Madeleine - I like

Maya - not keen

Kayleigh - its ok
nn of above Kaya

Chantelle - don't like

Time40 · 09/02/2019 02:08

Madeleine
Anna
Ella

in that order

then

Ella
Ellie

I don't like
Annalise
Hannah
Maya
Kaya

and these last two are chavvy (sorry)

Kayleigh
Chantelle

The only one that sounds well with the middle names, to me, is kaya and I'm not 100% sure that it flows particularly well if I'm honest.
Felicity Frances Bluebelle sounds lovely to me or what about just Francesca Bluebelle it honours your mum and grandpa without going overboard on names and giving her her own name too.

NotMyUsualTopBilling · 09/02/2019 02:17

Eliana Frances Bluebelle flows best for me.

Although I would potentially think about pronunciation, I'm not sure whether it's Ee-lie-ana Ellie-anna, El-yana or Eel-yanna but maybe that's just me.

NotMyUsualTopBilling · 09/02/2019 02:19

Francesca Bluebelle would also work as a name on it's own, my brother has 2 middle names and completely dropped one (not that you use them much right enough) because he felt like it was too much.

MamaCrazy · 09/02/2019 02:57

I have toyed with Francesca but I'm not sure I like it. It will inevitably end up as Frankie which I don't like.

Anna
Annalise

I don't like any of the others. I like your middle names though

FE1984 · 09/02/2019 03:11

@MamaCrazy that is a list of lovely names! Personally I found that choosing names was quite a personal thing. Everyone always has such different opinions! Why don't you try writing them all out as full names with your middle names and surnames? I expect you'd drop a few just looking at them and then have it whittled down. I wanted quite a long name we could shorten and somehow we ended up with a name so short it has four letters with only two different letters in it Grin.

17caterpillars1mouse · 09/02/2019 06:04

I would shortlist

Anneliese - but this spelling
Hannah- beautiful classic
Madeleine

FlagFish · 09/02/2019 06:10

As you want three names, and Bluebell is a flowery one, I’d go for something plainer for the first name. Anna is my favourite from your list. I also like Ella but maybe not because of the repeating ell sound.

OnTheHop · 09/02/2019 06:20

Drop the last 3 on your list.

SquiddyMcSquidford · 09/02/2019 06:48

Eliana - how do you say this?
Ellie - Bit boring but ok
Ella - ok
Annalise - quite like
Anna - quite like
Hannah - 90s
Madeleine - lovely in theory but the McCann thing puts me off
Maya - boring but ok
Kayleigh - no
Kaya - is this really a name?
Chantelle - no

I like Frances and Francesca. And even Frankie!

And tbh I think Bluebelle is an awful middle name, but at least she won't have to use it day to day. But whilst it may seem cute on a baby as an adult woman I would feel embarrassed to have that as my middle name.

Peachbubble · 09/02/2019 06:51

The only one I really like is Annalise

RageAgainstTheVendingMachine · 09/02/2019 07:05

Hanna Frances Bluebell (hanna spelling less 90s?) but I also have a soft spot for Ellie as a first name.

abcriskringle · 09/02/2019 07:06

I think Madeleine is beautiful. Also like Ella from your list.

ImStillHungry · 09/02/2019 07:53

Eliana is lovley, is it prounounced like Iliana is so i prefer the spelling Iliana

StoatofDisarray · 09/02/2019 07:58

Annalise, Madeleine, Hannah and Anna.

MelinaM · 09/02/2019 08:39

Anna is lovely, as is Francesca, I think the two middle names are a mouthful with another name tagged at the front, Francesca Bluebelle works.

anatol · 09/02/2019 09:51

Anna by far.

3in4years · 09/02/2019 09:52

Hannah
Madeleine is also nice.
