DD1 is Sophia
DD2 Alexandra or Vivienne. ?

If I name her Alexandra the theme is Greek if I call her Vivienne it goes more French. I like both! which one should I Choose ?

Vivienne is lovely

Definitely an underused name!

TurquoiseDress · 09/02/2019 00:19

To add- I love the French spelling of Vivienne rather than Vivian

eiche · 11/02/2019 10:35

sexnotgender what did you call your daughter eventually?

I had a boy! We called him Francis.

AnnoyedByAlfieBear · 11/02/2019 10:53

I love Vivienne!

Oliversmumsarmy · 11/02/2019 10:53

Alexandra

Vivienne reminds me too much of women who were around when I was growing up.

All were called Viv or Vi (pronounced like eye) and weren’t afraid to make their opinions known even if no one asked them

MikeUniformMike · 11/02/2019 11:06

Vivienne seems fresher but I prefer Alexandra.
Do you like the name Viv?

MikeUniformMike · 11/02/2019 11:09

I know a few Vivs. Vivian is a man's name, usually shortened to Viv.
Vivien is the spelling for a woman's name and the ones I know are Viv apart from one Vee.
Vivienne will be said as Vivvy-en by many, Viv-yen by others.

CockleburIck · 13/02/2019 01:04

Alexandra by a country mile.

MercyBodle · 13/02/2019 11:34

I prefer Alexandra. I like the timeless, classic feel of it.

TatianaLarina · 13/02/2019 23:19

Vivienne is godawful. No idea why people are saying it’s classy it’s an Essex hairdresser’s name.

Alexandra goes much better with Sophia.

BettyUnderswoob · 13/02/2019 23:23

I agree Tatiana.

Vivien(ne) is an auntie name.

aliceandkids77 · 15/02/2019 10:00

hey darling, I prefer Alexandra, think it's gorgeous. Not a fan of Vivienne but Vivian is better spelling imo x

MotorcycleMayhem · 15/02/2019 10:06

I love Vivienne, but then I pronounce the ~enne (not ~an as in Vivian).

VanessaShanessaJenkins · 15/02/2019 10:14

Alexandra.
I have a Sophie (Ok not sophia but close) and if I had another Alexandra would be on my list.

Plus I know twins sophia and Alexandra so the names obviously go well together.
