Narrowing Down Girls List.......

So rather than narrowing down my girls name list I have been adding more options. To go with brothers Noah and Jacob.

Options are Pippa, Hallie and Matilda.

Matilda is the name I loved when I had my first son. Pippa is a diminutive of fathers name. And Hallie I heard recently and fell in love with it. Thanks.
Which do you prefer and why?

Thanks everyone.
I know its two A endings but would Matilda Pippa 4 letter surname be nice?

Matilda Pippa is fine! Love Matilda and Pippa works with it as a middle name. If it’s a nod to her dad’s name, I think using it as a middle name is nicer.

My ds has my dh’s, (unfashionable), name as a middle name. My dd has my mum’s.

I don’t mind Hallie as a band but I knew one and everyone called her Halitosis!
The others are ok too

They’re all lovely and sound perfect with Noah and Jacob to me - but it seems I’m in the minority on that one. Pippa doesn’t need to be Philippa you could consider Penelope. I like the versatility of Matilda.
Noah & Jacob are quite strongly Christian sounding - if this was deliberate I’d think number three probably needs the same? Lilith Bethany or Lydia are all lovely?

Love Hallie - I taught a gorgeous 11 yr old Hallie 2 years ago! How about Tilda instead of Matilda

Astronica · 05/02/2019 22:07

I like Pippa best with your boys. I find Pippa an appealing name and it's short and on trend so fits best with the boys' names as they're also have a modern trendy feel. I don't like Hallie and it seems more American to me. I like Matilda, and that would be my 2nd choice though I don't see it going particularly well with the boys.

I only like Matilda

Ikeameatballs · 05/02/2019 22:22

Matilda, definitely!

@GreatDuckCookery

What's wrong with the Radfords?!

Hallie is a really lovely name OP. Certainly not made up.

Cosmoa · 06/02/2019 21:48

Although the made up thing annoys me anyway as all names were 'made up' once upon a time. It's such an idiotic comment and reason to not like a name.

Kokeshi123 · 07/02/2019 01:02

Hailey is better than Hallie. I also thought "halitosis." And that American actress.

Pippa has a bit of a silly sound. Matilda is OK though quite trendy at the moment if that bothers.

I second the PP up thread, I like the idea of a biblical name to blend with the boys.
So Sarah, Ruth, Hannah, Miriam, Abigail, Bethany (my favourite)

Mumtobe193 · 07/02/2019 01:30

Hallie
