So many threads on names here Nd not sure where to start!

My GF is 18 weeks pregnant and we were convinced it was to be a girl, however, we have today found out it is a boy.

We would love to find a boys names which is more traditional than modern and trendy, and open to some good suggestions please.

I like Bertie, Arthur and Reginald.

@HappyGoLucky - I take it you don't like the name!

I don’t know... it just seems very retro, somehow, I’m not sure it fits the OP’s request for traditional? The more I think about it, the more I like it- versatile across ages. But it feels quite... 1950s/60s?

@HappyGoLucky - yes I see what you mean about probably not being traditional (or quite what the OP was looking for), but I thought I'd throw it in - you never know, some people say traditional, but then end up liking something that they maybe hadn't heard of,or thought of, and end up really liking it. (I've only ever met one IRL, and Have always loved the name ever since).

You seem to have a similar style to me.
I had a baby boy last year and called him Stanley. I think it's an ace name, not too popular, masculine but gentle and traditional.

Other names you might like:
Tobias (Toby)
Wilfred
Frederick
Edward
Louis
Walter
Oscar
Hugo
William
Arthur
Reginald
Theodore
Alexander
Eric

@Shadow1234 Agreed! It’s one of those names that you forget is a name, until you hear it and realise how nice it is! Anyway, I’ll have to have a think and actually contribute constructively to the thread Grin
