Can't agree on boy name

Have always really struggled to find boy names that I love or that 'spark joy' as Marie Kondo would say. The only names I like are Felix and Jack but I worry about then being being too popular, especially Jack. My husband can't move beyond thinking that Felix is a cat name despite my protests that it's a perfectably acceptable human name! Help please! Any other names you think I'd like? I can't use Finn, Arlo or Noah despite thinking they're all nice names.

We’re finding all names hard right now but our favourite boy name is Jackson which you might like. It’s a bit less popular than Jack but could be nicknamed Jack. Other suggestions:

Arthur
Brody
Caleb
Hugo
James
Grayson
Liam

Felix is nice but a bit pretentious, and the cat association wouldn't bother me.

Jack is stuck in the 90s. It would be weird to have a Jack now IMO.

Other ideas:
George
Harrison
Harley
Finley
Otto
Jackson
Theodore

I think the Jack popularity has died down a bit the last few years (I personally don't know any Jacks!) So I think it'd be fine to use now .

My brother is called Jack and I would put a strong vote in for this name! He is someone that everyone adores he is naturally so kind natured, handsome and his name really suits him, I love that he is just Jack with no nicknames. My son is due in May and I have toyed with naming him after my brother

I think that Jack is great. Works as a child through an adult, not super trendy at the moment, nice solid name. I’m not all about traditional names, but there’s something so solid and reliable and friendly about this name.

Jack is fine, but if your husband is set on Felix being a cats name I doubt he's going to change his mind about naming his baby it.

What a shame you can’t convince DH on Felix. It’s a cool name. Does he object to Jack as well?

I find Jack a bit dull, it’s so common. And personally, the Jacks ive known have been little shits! 😂 I’ve always associated it with Jack the Ripper, which hasn’t appeared to dent its popularity, unlike Myra (which I think is a beautiful name incidentally, but is always noted for its reference to Hindley).

I think Jack is a lovely name and not as common as it used to be. There’s only one in my dc’s entire primary school.
