Don't know the sex, so the lists are:

Jeremy (Jem) Alan G
Clement (Clem) Alan G
Joss Alan G

Sorrel June G
Juno Pearl G
Vivian June G

Which is best? Any great names that I'm missing?

Sorrel or Juno
Clement

Notso · 23/01/2019 23:05

Clement,
Joss

Sorrel
Juno

Vivian and Jeremy are awful sorry.

Giraffetower · 23/01/2019 23:05

I also know a lovely Joss and he is so nice, the world needs more of them! I also really like Clem and Jeremy. So I'm no help at all!

I love Vivien/ Vivienne ( but hate the NN Viv, so I ruled it out!) Juno is gorgeous. Or Alana/ Alanna?

I had Solomon ( Sol) and Edwin on my boys' list and on my girls' list Sylvia and ( I'm still not sure why I like It so much, but I do! )Temperence.

Fozzleyplum · 23/01/2019 23:21

I like Sylvia, too. Another girl's name which has a similar feel, I think, is Honor.

Calzone · 23/01/2019 23:28

Joss and Juno

I think I would add another middle name because although you love them and they are names of family, they are quite dated.

Joss Benjamin Alan sounds nice.
Sorrel Francesca June flows better

Imho.

Calzone · 23/01/2019 23:29

Jeremy Corben is all I can think about when you say Jeremy.

Villainess · 23/01/2019 23:31

Actually Jeremy represents all the parties I suppose

Corbyn
Hunt
Thorp

mizzles · 23/01/2019 23:43

Joss and Juno. DD is called Juno and I think it's a great name, elegant but strong, and cute on a little girl.

Sophronia · 23/01/2019 23:45

Clement and Vivien

Picknickers · 23/01/2019 23:46

All I can think of with Clem is Clem Fandango! Joss and Juno are the best.

doritad · 24/01/2019 00:01

Love Jeremy but he could end up being a Jezza

MrsFoxPlus4 · 24/01/2019 01:40

Clem is awful. I don’t like any of your boys names. Girls though Juno is lovely and Vivian is ok.

YouSetTheTone · 24/01/2019 07:41

I really like Jem but I thought it was traditionally short for James? Happy to be corrected!! Vastly prefer James to Jeremy.

I like Vivienne (this spelling sorry) from the girls list. Hate Viv as shortening but like Vivi.

tammytoby · 24/01/2019 08:00

I really like Clement!

For a girl I prefer Vivian.

Pemba · 24/01/2019 08:20

Jeremy is a bit wet. Clement has iunfortunate associations (Clement Freud - famous deceased MP who turns out to have been a sex abuser). The association sticks more because Clement is unusual. Joss is fine.

I like Vivian best of your girl's names but much prefer the spellings Vivienne or Vivien, like Vivien Leigh.

KellyMarieTunstall2 · 24/01/2019 08:24

Clement and Vivian. Clement is my Ds middle name. I love it. Have you considered Vivienne?

WrapAndRoll · 24/01/2019 08:40

Clement and Juno.

Prefer Jerome or Jeremiah to Jeremy.

daisypond · 24/01/2019 10:23

I like Jeremy/Jem for the boy's name. Joss is OK if short for...something. Jocelyn? Josiah? I could come round to Clement, but I don't like Clem at all.
Vivien (spelled that way with E) for a girl. Juno is OK. I only know a boy
called Sorrel, but I quite like it for a girl.

MikeUniformMike · 24/01/2019 11:44

Vivian is a boy's name. It's Vivien for a girl.
Sorrel is pretty but it's an edible weed that's not particularly attractive. A bit too similar to Sorry?
Juno- D'you know...? jokes all her life.
Jeremy makes me think Clarkson, Corbyn, Hunt, Thorpe...
Clement makes me think of the weather or Attlee, Freud.
Joss short for Joseph is ok.

Not keen on Pearl - it's one of those names that looks nice and has a nice meaning but I don't like the sound.

I like Alan a lot.

PinkAvocado · 24/01/2019 11:50

I think from your list as it is, Joss and Juno. But I think Joss sounds like a diminutive to much to be a stand alone name.

I would go for Vivienne or Vivien for a girl.

BackIntoTheSun · 24/01/2019 16:14

Don't like any of the boys names, sorry! Juno Pearl is nice though

AgathaDanger · 24/01/2019 23:22

Going for Jeremy or Juno. Thanks all!

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 24/01/2019 23:49

Joss Alan and Juno Pearl.

rootsandbranches · 30/01/2019 09:45

Was coming on to say Jeremy and Juno! 😀

GemmeFatale · 30/01/2019 09:55

Clement and Vivian
