Heidi Florence ......... Thoughts?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
peachypetite · 06/01/2019 22:29

Hmmm. Don't think they flow very nicely to be honest.

Ribbonsonabox · 06/01/2019 22:32

I absolutely love both of those names! But I think they flow better the other way round personally

Printerneedsink · 06/01/2019 22:34

Nice

m0therofdragons · 06/01/2019 22:37

I love it. I have a Heidi Matilda but I think Heidi Florence rolls easily off the tongue. Beautiful name.

WrapAndRoll · 06/01/2019 22:41

I'm not a great fan of Heidi TBH, but think the combination is fine. I really like Florence.

DramaAlpaca · 06/01/2019 22:46

Florence is utterly beautiful. Heidi isn't in the same style or the same league. The two names together flow, but they don't 'go'.

Yika · 06/01/2019 22:49

Nice. Both nice names and I think they go fine together. I like it that they are not too matchy.

GreatDuckCookery6211 · 06/01/2019 23:13

I would have Florence for a first name personally, not keen on Heidi, sorry. Reminds me of Kerry Katona.

mummytwoh · 06/01/2019 23:34

Thank you.
I absolutely love both names and this will be my last bubba and will be sad not to use them 🙈 don't know how I feel about them together either to be honest, although it does sound better when you say the full name with our surname

Shadow1234 · 07/01/2019 02:47

I really like both names, and I think they go well together.

Astronica · 07/01/2019 03:41

I like Florence but Heidi does nothing for me. Together they are okay.

WhirlieGigg · 07/01/2019 04:04

They’re different styles of names so I probably wouldn’t have chosen to put them together. Sounds ok though, it isn’t awful. Do what makes you happy!

Poppylizzyrose · 07/01/2019 04:26

Florence is my daughters name, Heidi is an ex friend currently still with my ex. Know which I prefer 😂

Mothergooseflying · 07/01/2019 06:42

Florence really pretty, Heidi old, remind myself of , Heidi from the Alps film sorry, I think you will be asked a lot, if that's where you got the name from, sorry, Florence all the way, lovely Heidi sorry No.

flameycakes · 07/01/2019 07:09

Two aquaintances have both called their babies Heidi over the last 6 months, lovely name, becoming very popular x

flameycakes · 07/01/2019 07:12

Wouldn't she get Hi Flo as a nickname though x

Cookit · 07/01/2019 07:27

Well I really both names separately and I think they work ok together

beanaseireann · 07/01/2019 18:42

Love Heidi.
I don't like Florence.

tammytoby · 08/01/2019 07:05

Florence is lovely and sounds good in English.

Heidi I don't like at all, sorry.

Littlepond · 08/01/2019 07:12

OMG I love these names and was the exact combo I wanted if my 2nd child was a girl. I love the name Heidi, and Florence is DH’s nan’s name.

Choosinganame · 08/01/2019 08:18

I think they go fine together. Choose the names you love! People hardly say the full name anyway and they go well together.

BillywigSting · 08/01/2019 08:22

I think they both sound lovely together.

But Heidi was one of my favourite books as a child and I quite like Florence and the machine so there may be a little bias there.

ZebraKid71 · 08/01/2019 08:23

Both lovely, I think they go well together.

Florence is way to popular for my taste but I think as a middle name it's fine.

InkyAndBinky · 08/01/2019 08:28

Great names. They sound nice together too. Don't worry about if they flow - no one except new parents use middle names.

I guess someone might call her High-Flow if they were desperate to do something with her name.

Tiredemma · 08/01/2019 08:29

Love Florence. It's my daughters middle name
