For a girl I love Morven. For a boy I love Cillian or Fergus.

I'm only 8 weeks pregnant so very aware I'm getting way ahead of myself.

Are these nice names?

I love Morven (and Morvern). Prefer Cillian to Fergus. How about Tavish?

Love Morven and Cillian :-)

Not a fan of Morven.

Cillian and Fergus are nice.

Morgen is a bit 1970s IMO.

See - even my phone doesn't recognise it. Morven.

Fergus is awful I'm afraid.

Very popular name where I live. I think it is lovely.

Thanks everyone for your responses.

We are both Scottish but my husband has irish relatives. My DD has an irish name so I'm not concerned whether the name is Scottish or Irish sounding. I think they all work well together.

I'm on the East Coast, but I confess I've never know a Cillian in my 50 years in Scotland! My neighbour is Morven and she's lovely, and Fergus will aways be a strong boy's name.

Personally, I like Isla and Lorna for girls, Atholl and Magnus for boys.
