A lot, but I live in Spain and it's always been a common name here.

In the last few years I've heard a lot of friends in the US and UK call dogs Luna.

It's #12 in 2019 name charts (BabyCentre), up 2 from 2018, so its rising in popularity.

I used to love the name Luna but went off it (no offence), it sounds a but hippie to me now.

I'd say it's more of a dog name! But then again I'd have said Alfie etc are dogs names too!

I love it as a name for either dog or baby! It's cute

Yeah I know several pets called Luna. Only heard of one baby through a friend called Luna but then again I know very few babies
