Just curious as to what the new name trends might have been for this year. Are there names that you have noticed becoming popular? Amongst the babies I know born in 2018 there were:
2 x Rory
3 x Jacob
2 x Megan
2x Joel

2018 will be the year of the boy ‘ie’ names for me!

This year seems. To be packed with Alfie's! Every other boy seems to be Alfie or Elliott now.

Cookit · 28/12/2018 14:59

Teddy (but usually Edward or Theodore on the BC) continues to get more and more popular.

I had a baby this year so have met a lot of others born in 2018. For boys names, definitely Theo! Also Oscar, Noah, Albie, Zac/Zachary, Henry, Ted/Teddy and Arthur.

For girls it still seems to be Eva/Evie, Ava, Lily, Poppy, Grace, Ivy here.

Flamingosnbears · 28/12/2018 18:35

Logan seems to be popular for boys and Bella and Sienna for girls

KonaMum · 28/12/2018 18:49

Aria/Arya definitely becoming more common, have met a few this year!

ZebraKid71 · 28/12/2018 19:01

Lots of Arias, Lunas and Elsies.

For boys I echo the above, anything ending in "ie" plus the old man names - Arthur, Eric, Stanley, Albert etc.
