Please pick from:

Maria
Maia/maya
Lilia
Serena
Amelie
Lara

Please state why you prefer it?
And please also say which name you think is more of a timeless classic name that’s international.

Amelie - really pretty name; and none around here, so not overused at all!

Honeybee79 · 27/12/2018 19:09

Lara

Sorry if I was to add Camilla to this list, which would there be a change in favourite?

Lara (my dd!).

AlliKaneErikson · 27/12/2018 21:11

Just to add to that, my Lara wishes I’d called her Larissa (although I’m glad I didn’t!).

Didyeeaye · 27/12/2018 21:31

I like Maria the best. It really is a classic and truly international imo

2isabella2 · 27/12/2018 21:33

I like most of them and don't dislike any. Not as keen on Lara or Serena. I think Lillia is my favourite.

Lara is lovely! But Camilla and Amelie too! I would personally pick Camilla, maybe Camille or Millie as a nickname :)

Maria or Serens

LadyWithLapdog · 27/12/2018 21:44

Maya and Lara.

Lumpy76 · 27/12/2018 22:12

Lara - it’s my own name and has served me well. Only met a few others with the same name (I’m in my 40s). It doesn’t date and easy to learn to spell too!

Maria - lovely
Maia/maya - no because pronunciation is ambiguous
Lilia - no
Serena - lovely, but what if she's not? (serene)
Amelie - no
Lara - nice
Camilla - lovely
