Valentina opinions and middle names

I really love the name Valentina.

Her last name (partners last name) will be valerie. She will be half french (dad's side) I think this name goes nicely with her sir name and is a French name.

Opinions?

OMG, I love it! Love it!

I dislike all poncy and cutesy names but this is lovely. She can be Valentine or Tina or V or loads of things! And it is very pretty in itself.

Vivi a good nickname, especially with that surname. Middle name should be very different, short, like Joy or Faye, Jean, Syke, Rose.

I like the name Valentina a lot but I don’t think that works, sorry.

Love it! Especially with the surname. But I'm all for alliteration! 😍 I also love middle names but I think it's great as it is!

I think Valentina Valerie is a bit of a mouthful! And the problem with the name Valentina is the nicknames - sure you can try to encourage others to call her something sweet like Vivi but a much more natural nickname is "Val" or "Tina", so I'd make sure you're happy with the NN possibilities before you go for it because like people always say on MN, you can't choose what NN other people use unfortunately! (This has ruined loads of lovely names for me!)

Valentina Valerie is way too much.

Valentina is nice, but doesn't work with the surname at all. Also agree that you will need to accept that she will probably be called Val or Tina.
