Lydia or Zara?
My husband likes one and I like the other.

Zara is so dull and a clothes shop. Might as well call her Next.

Lydia definitely.. Pretty and classic and not too common.

Zara is OK though, but the only really lovely Z name is Zoe.

I agree kids will say clamidia or lids etc as nicknames for Lydia (plus it reminds me of four weddings and a funeral!)

Deepin40 - perhaps I didnt word it right, but what I meant was, they are said the same, but one has a Z and the other has an S (which sounds softer (as opposed to someone I know who pronounces their name of Sara the same as Sarah - iyswim).
