What are people's thoughts? DP and I love it, but one friend said it's a bit precious.

Not precious at all. Harriet is a great name. Hattie as a nickname is fine, but I prefer Hetty, Harrie, Haddie or Harryo.

Not keen. It’s awfully prim.

Very popular, I teach lots! Like it though.

I don't like the sound of Harriett. Also, why pre choose her nickname in advance? Nicknames often develop naturally or your dd may prefer the full name.

Bestie is Harriet and gets Hattie some times hazaadog also 🤷🏻‍♀️
