So I love usual names am I’m trying to find an usual scandi/Viking boys name (Viking at the request of my DP).

We’ve decided on Freya for a girl. But we can’t agree on any boy names.

Can anyone help? Oh and it needs to go with a double barrel surname.

I love these names SO MUCH. 😂

HauntedPencil · 28/11/2018 12:06

I'm thinking Cnut might cause the odd issue at school Grin

Morganj28 · 28/11/2018 12:06

@RedRoseRed ‘Bluetooth’ is that a 100% genuine name?!

Cnut... oh dear!

I know someone who’s initals are C Hunt and he has to be careful saying his name on the phone and stuff...

MamaDane · 28/11/2018 12:09

Bluetooth is more the title of Harald Bluetooth Grin like Ivar The Boneless

PerfectPeony · 28/11/2018 12:10

I vote Bluetooth and Cnut for Viking twins Grin

MamaDane · 28/11/2018 12:11

I'd suggest Knud/Knut over Cnut tbh GrinGrin for obvious reasons

RedRoseReb · 28/11/2018 12:11

Therefore be a translation. Maybe Blaututh?

Morganj28 · 28/11/2018 12:11

😂😂😂 @perfectPeony. I think those are the front runners 🙄🤣

Tawdrylocalbrouhaha · 28/11/2018 12:12

Odin seems to be in use these days, but I prefer Erik.

hamabr86 · 28/11/2018 12:13

Tagging these for future reference as I love them. Grin

brizzledrizzle · 28/11/2018 12:18

Imagine him going into school I AM THOOORRRR

You could have twins, Thor and Spartacus.

MamaDane · 28/11/2018 12:22

Oh and Nohr/Nord/Njord is super popular in Denmark right now.
There's also
Tyr
Fenris
Aske

IStandWithPosie · 28/11/2018 12:25

I know a toddler Thorin!

RiverTam · 28/11/2018 12:27

there was a Thorin at DD's nursery a few years back, cute as a button. However, I'm not sure that being named after a spectacularly grumpy dwarf who (SPOILER ALERT!!) comes to a sticky end is necessarily a good thing, even with the divine Richard Armitage portraying him.

Xiaoxiong · 28/11/2018 12:32

I may have missed if anyone has suggested it yet but I like Bjarke (means "bear")

Lunde · 28/11/2018 12:35

Love these names. God I wish I'd named My 6 foot, red bearded son Roar!

MagnusMama · 28/11/2018 12:46

We'll, I'm biased, but Magnus is nice!

We know a few Thor/Thorstens as well. Not met an Odin...

Morganj28 · 28/11/2018 12:49

@thereallifesaffy this is why a Viking name is perfect for our kid. As we’re both redheads so it’s more of less guaranteed it’ll be a ginger bearded Viking later in life 😂 especially if he takes after his dad
