Bodhi - thoughts?

I overheard someone using this name yesterday and it really stuck. I googled it and saw its meaning which is just lovely (buddhist meaning the enlightened one). Only worry is that I can only really imagine a little cool dude with this name!

Ah! It's my boys name, it's a winner we get so many compliments on it and he really suits it. If you want to mix it up why not go for a more traditional middle name? My son is Bodhi Joseph, but we also liked Bodhi James. Good luck! X

Why not call him a sensible ish name and give a nickname of bodhi... or whatever!
I recall loving the nickname Tigs for my little girl and I used it about 6 times before something nicer bubbled up but she is a very sensible personality type child who loves her posh sounding name lol 😆

What I'm trying to say is think about them, not just you and what's 'en flique' 🤪

Fab name. I know a little Bodi. I'd spell it Bode after the skier Bode Miller.

I love it, although it has become increasingly popular over the last few years, so as long as you're not searching for a name thats very unique, I'd say go for it! (This is all coming from someone who has has both of their chidrens' names slated on MN in the last few months)....

Bodhi Zen Clinics seem to be all over the place, which would definitely put me off.
