We have 3DS names Algy, Clement and Ike. The only names that we seem to like are Old English names but we’d like some that aren’t too out there!. We like Alaric but it doesn’t feel like the one. Any ideas?

We quite like Kenelm, but have only heard the story of St Kenelm, not sure if it’s a usable name!

I like Kenelm - it's a character in one of the Georgette Heyer murders, so has always seemed a normal name to me. But it's bound to be shortened to Ken - wouid you be OK with that?

FrangelicoCandyBoughs · 13/11/2018 23:26

Yeah we quite like Ken. Just not sure if it’s too close with our DS Clement nn Clem

Not all of these are OE but all very old, hope some might appeal!

I liked Wilric but DH wanted William as middle name so we went for Alaric instead.*
*Both middle names. His first name is slightly more traditional. Wink

Our shortlist now is Kenelm, Dennis, Percy and Wulfric. Leaning more towards Kenelm
