Hi, we are name hunting for ds due next year . We are different to most in that we wouldnt mind a popular name - DP and me both have unusual names for our time and hated being different to our peers so are happy to choose a top 20 name. Problem is I actually like most of them.....

I’ve always loved Albert. It’s been on my list for all of my pregnancies but has been pipped at the post. I see it’s more popular now than when I had my first son in 2005 but is still on the list for this pregnancy should I have a boy.

Forgot to say I’ve come across quite a few Archie’s. Also names like Harrison seem to becoming more popular.

Of the current list of popular boys names, I only like Jacob and Daniel. And that’s only because I’ve liked every single Jacob and Daniel I’ve ever met.
Personally I’d never deliberately choose an overly popular name... But I’m the opposite of you, had a very common name in school and hated it!! 😂

Oscar and Henry are my favourites both are very popular. Also love Elijah and Theodore which arent top 20 but very common these days.
