Jonah or Alfie?

Hi everyone,

Just needs some advice, we have a beautiful daughter and are expecting a little boy soon, our daughter was so easy to name but DH and I have been through thousands of names and don't agree on any.

We seem to be down to Alfie or Jonah, but I am unsure about them both, Alfie as I don't like the name 'Alf' and don't want it ever shortened to that but I know that it probably will, and Jonah sounds very religious to me and will be shorted to Jo or Jon both names which I don't like.

Opinions would be really appreciated.

Also any name suggestions along these lines will also be welcome, we need 2 syllable names as have a long surname that can be shorted to something nice or not shortened at all.

Thank you in advance

xx

Wow, some people are so judgemental. Maybe I should tell my cousins Alfie who is currently at uni studying to become an architect that he's wasting his time with a name like that Hmm

OP - both names are fine but I obviously prefer Alfie Smile
