Elin Mari or Anna Mari?

Not what you asked but I think Mari Elin goes nicely.

Because Georgie I wanted to create a new thread with just these two names which we have narrowed it down to rather than all the other options as well. Hope that's ok!

I like Elin Mari.

I know a couple of colleagues whose daughters are called Mari and one of our nieces has Elin as a middle name which is kind of why we preferred it Elin Mari.

My name is Anna and I'm really glad my parents chose it. It's certainly not bland or overdone.

I like Elin too, but prefer the spelling Ellen. I doubt she'll thank you for giving her a name that people are bound to misspell.

Mari's lovely, but as a first name, not as a middle name as some people have suggested. Mari prefixed by another name sounds like a variation of the Kon Mari method!

We have chosen to spell it Elin as we are Welsh and live in Wales. I don't mind having to spell it out or correct people that could happen with lots and lots of different names.

I've never heard of the Kon Mari method so I'm sure that won't be an issue!
