Really struggling to make a final decision on my baby girls name ... I have a daughter who is 5 and a son who has just turned 3 ... DD2 is due in 3 weeks time and honestly I have no idea! I have a few names which I like but don't know if any are 'the one' ...

Tiana 💕
Amelle 💕
Jasmine 💕
Delilah 💕

Really would appreciate some advice and suggestions and what name you prefer out of that list! thank youSmile

Out of the 4 my favourite is Delilah! I've never heard of Amelle, that's probably my least favorite

RoseMartha · 07/11/2018 14:02

Tiana

helpmum2003 · 07/11/2018 14:04

I like Jasmine and Delilah

HollyBen · 07/11/2018 14:05

Jasmine. Not keen on the others

minimausi · 07/11/2018 14:05

Tiana sounds very pretty!

ChateauneufduTwat · 07/11/2018 14:05

Delilah is my favourite. Strong and feminine with lots of options for nicknames.

Jasmine and Tiana are pretty but too Disney for me.

Amelle is just not to my taste.

sharpstick · 07/11/2018 14:08

Tiana is nice. I don’t love it, but it’s pretty.
Amelle I’m not keen on. It doesn’t stand out for me.
Jasmine is pretty, my favourite from your list. I do prefer to drop the ‘e’ though, or substitute ‘z’ for ‘s’ but if you are more traditional, your spelling is lovely.
Delilah, no , just no.

sharpstick · 07/11/2018 14:09

Substitute ‘s’ for ‘z’ even Blush

Mummblebee · 07/11/2018 14:10

Amelle sounds lovely

Mummblebee · 07/11/2018 14:12

How about Isabelle xx

LadyDuplo · 07/11/2018 14:13

What are your ds and Dd called?

kaylanelson · 07/11/2018 14:23

@sharpstick I was considering the spelling 'Jasmin' without the e on the end but my partner prefers it with the e and because jasmine was the name I wanted I let him have the e 😂 thanks for your feedback everyone 💕

@kaylanelson it’s an easy compromise for you to add an ‘e’ to get the name you want, I like your thinking! Jasmine, Jasmin or Jazmin, I think it’s a great name Smile

2128Cl · 07/11/2018 14:45

Delilah

afrikat · 07/11/2018 14:51

They are all lovely but my favourite is Tiana

bellinisurge · 07/11/2018 14:54

Tiana is lovely but there are two in my DD's year (Y7). My dd has a common name but weirdly no one in her year has that name and no one had it at primary school in her year (different cohort of children)

Shadow1234 · 07/11/2018 14:56

Tiana and Delilah are verry pretty names
Not sure on jasmine.
Amelle - not liking

Tiana would be my top pick!

ChaosMoon · 07/11/2018 15:07

Never come across Amelle before, but I like it. It's grown on me as I've scrolled down - hopefully not just because I'm being contrary! I like all of them actually.

Cosmoa · 07/11/2018 15:28

Jasmine closely followed by Tiana! I like Jasmine Tiana

Goostacean · 07/11/2018 15:42

Jasmine or Delilah... Maybe try to factor in which works best with her surname, and possible nicknames? Eg do you like “Jazz/Jas”?

I’d probably go with Delilah!

Wispygypsy · 07/11/2018 15:47

Love the name Jasmine, my boy might have been called Jasmine if he had been a girl Smile

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 07/11/2018 16:39

None are really yo my taste but If in had to choose one I'd go with Tiana

BlackType · 07/11/2018 16:42

Of those, Jasmine.

IdaDown · 07/11/2018 16:48

en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amélie

Do you mean Amelie (French) for Amelle?

I would pronounce it Am-elle (like Elle Macpherson).

daisypond · 07/11/2018 16:54

Jasmine. I quite like Tiana too. I really dislike Delilah.
