Violet & Charlie - too Willy Wonka? A lot of people seem to think of the character on Violet threads so yes, probably too much. I think it’s because they are from the same book - Violet & James would be fine, IMO (James & the giant peach)
Violet & Elizabeth - too Just William? I don’t know the reference but I have seen a lot of comments on here and it doesn’t seem the best to be associated with so I’ll go with yes on that one too.
Robin - Girl or Boy name? Boy. I think you can get away with it on a girl though.
River - Girl or Boy name? Boy
Hunter - Girl or Boy name? 100% boy
Rory - Girl or Boy name? Boy
Fable - Is it crazy to like this as a name? Nn Fay? Yeah, it would be a guilty pleasure to be never used for me.
Fabia/Faebia - wdyt? NAF. It honesty made me think of labia.
River or Reeva? Reeva although I’m NAF of either.
Elizabeth or Elisabeth? Elizabeth purely because I love Eliza.
Isla, Iona or Innes? I like them all (Ines with one n though) - Iona is probably my favourite.
Malachi or Maddox? Malachi.
Naomi or Natasha? Naomi.
Naomi or Noemi? Naomi.
Any names like Aurora? I feel like it's too popular now but I love that its a strong name of a goddess (I also love the name Dawn) and a beautiful natural event.
I don’t think Aurora is too popular and to me there’s not another name like it but I am very biased as it’s my eldest’s name - Violet is also my youngest’s name, funnily enough. Celeste? Estelle? Selena? Esther? Athena?
Names like Eden? I love Eden but know someone with the name and again it seems to be rising in popularity. Edith? Edie?
Boys names like Charlie? Charlie is the only name DP offered for a boy as he (rightly) guessed we'd have a girl. He likes "classically popular" names like Charlie, Oliver, Henry/Harry, George etc. So sort of strong names, but still soft enough to suit kids AND adults.
Theo, Theodore. Archie, Luca, Lucas. Issac, Freddie, Samuel, James, Xander, Alexander, Quinn, Joel, Jude, Ryan, Alfie, Nathan, Ezra, Ethan, Caleb, Oscar, Zachary, Nathaniel
Dougie is nice but a bit too nickname-y for me. Douglas, NN Doug?
