Middle name for Margot- Elisabeth or Evangeline

Me and DH have both lucked out and been cursed that both our DM’s names go very nicely with Margot. However it’s now just a choice between the 2 as we feel that both is too much- both DMs aren’t very sensitive to things like this so it won’t be a cause of offence, honouring them is just something we’d like to do. So Elisabeth or Evangeline?

i think margot elisabeth flows better.

Margot Robbie, the Australian actress, is Margot Elise Robbie. Not sure if that changes things for you but I think Elizabeth is gorgeous and flows beautifully

daisypond · 31/10/2018 21:03

Elisabeth.

Shadow1234 · 31/10/2018 22:25

Margot Evangeline. I think they sound so lovely together!

BernardsarenotalwaysSaints · 31/10/2018 22:27

Elisabeth. It just flows better to me.

Sungura · 31/10/2018 22:28

Elisabeth.

Elisabeth for me too! (I have a Margot - middle name Grace; this was my husbands choice for a first name but he didn't push her out...)

AtticaRose · 01/11/2018 07:25

Elisabeth

I think Margot Evangeline sounds more special. Elisabeth is much more expected

Margot Elisabeth has an ever so slightly better flow to my ear, but I think it's down to Elisabeth/Elizabeth being such a common middle name.

Margot Evangeline is beautiful - it still flows well but has added elegance for when she's older to have a bit of 'wow' factor. Margot Elisabeth is nice but wouldn't make me think 'that is an absolutely gorgeous name' whereas Margot Evangeline would.

Margot Elisabeth

Nedzilla · 01/11/2018 17:09

Is Elisabetta an option?

Margot Elisabetta flows well

You could squeeze in both names also:

Margot Eva Elisabeth
Margot Lisa Evangeline
Margot Betsy Evangeline

DreamsofJacaranda · 01/11/2018 17:10

Elisabeth

NeedSomeTimeInTheSunshiiine · 01/11/2018 23:24

Margot Elvira/Elva - do both!

Didyeeaye · 01/11/2018 23:42

I like Margot Elizabeth best

L0lacabana · 02/11/2018 19:04

Was just speaking to my mum and apparently she doesn’t want to be the middle name- she finds the whole thing ‘twee’ and acting like she is dead
So Margot Evangeline it is!
belindasredplastichandcuffs you’re right I think it does have a wow factor
