2 to choose from...

Hello,

We think we are down to 2 names for our baby girl;

Amelie
Romy (pronounced Roam-ee)

We don't like any of the longer forms of Romy we've heard.

My 2 older children have short 2 syllable names, and our surname is also 2 syllables if that makes a difference.

Which would you choose?

Thanks!

Just counted the responses, and it seems 17 votes for Romy v 5 for Amelie, which doesn't please my DH haha.

Thanks all for comments :)

Yep loads of Amelies here too. Often shortened to Millie, which there are many many of as well. However it’s a beautiful name and perhaps popularity of the name isn’t an issue for you.

I love Romy and also Romalie so that’s what I would go for.

Amelies everywhere where I am too. Romy is lovely.

I don't like Roam-ee
I love Amelie, was on our list

I love both. I think Rome maybe just edges ahead for me
