Cecily and Eliza are my favourites from your list

bridgetreilly · 30/10/2018 20:47

In order, I like:
Rowan
Eliza
Lucy
Cecily
Joy
Anna
Lara
Emma
Rose
Lily
Daisy

They're all fine, but I think Emma, Rose, Lily and Daisy are all very frequently used and a little bit dull. I love Rowan for a girl. Also Robin.

TheLovelyOtherDinosaur · 30/10/2018 20:56

Lara and Cecily by a walking mile!
Anna and Lucy bringing up the rear. Not keen on the others

Thetimehascometo · 31/10/2018 00:02

Like all apart from Rowan, reminds me of Rowan Atkinson.

DramaAlpaca · 31/10/2018 00:34

All lovely apart from Daisy which is cutesy & Rowan which to me is more of a boys' name.

MrsReader · 31/10/2018 00:41

Emma or Lucy

Aintnothingbutaheartache · 31/10/2018 00:52

Love them all apart from Joy & Rowan

BackforGood · 31/10/2018 01:00

I like Emma best from your list.

Not very keen on
Daisy
Cecily
Rowan
Joy

and there have been a LOT of Lily's around this area in last 3 or 4 years.

Yeaididthat · 31/10/2018 06:22

Lara or Cecily

Notso · 31/10/2018 07:02

Emma, Anna or Rose are my favourites. Classic names to suit any age group.

I'm not keen on Lucy or Cecily don't know why but they make me think of a Verruca Salt type child!

The other names are all nice enough though.

SuperstarDJ · 31/10/2018 07:33

Joy & Eliza are my favourites. I think Eliza Joy flows & sounds lovely.

Emma
Lara

AlliKaneErikson · 31/10/2018 12:05

Lara (my dd!) is lovely. Also like Lucy and Lily; I must like L names!

AlliKaneErikson · 31/10/2018 12:06

PS I should add all of your names are good ones!

Gobletoffire · 31/10/2018 12:07

Rose or Eliza are my favourites from your list x

finallychangedmyusername · 31/10/2018 12:17

I really like Emma, Anna, Lucy, Rose as a first name, Eliza, Lara and Joy. Lara and Joy are underused so particularly lovely.

For me, Rowan is a boy's name (I know it's unisex, but I only know boy Rowans so struggle to imagine it on a girl). Cecily isn't my cup of tea sorry. Lily was ultrapopular about 10 years ago and there are still a lot of Lilys now so I'm a little tired of it personally. And Daisy is a little too twee/insubstantial for me.

I agree with every word of this ^

Eliza Joy is still my favourite Smile

KiplingAngelCake · 31/10/2018 12:58

Anna, Lara or Eliza are my favourites

NotTouchingThese · 31/10/2018 13:00

Lara (safe but beautiful; travels well) or Joy (bold and uncommon)

TheGirlOnTheLanding · 31/10/2018 22:10

Anna or Rowan

Rowan is more frequently a girl's than a boy's name here (Scotland) so it may depend where you are.
