Help us pick names for our b/g twins!

We've decided on Jasper and Grace as middle names and narrowed down our top three first names for each of them but we can't decide and their due in two weeks

We already have two dc - Phoenix and Nova

Boy:
Prince
Ocean
Ryver

Girl:
Pixie
Lux
Lulu

If you go for river please spell it correctly.

River is definitely an option as we're undecided on the spelling of that one.

I would make Jasper the first name and go for Jasper River.
I also like Pixie Grace

Ahhh I love Phoenix and Nova!!! Lovely names.

I absolutely love Prince.
Ocean is okay but I would prefer it on a girl.
River* is okay (not Ryver)!

Pixie is nice.
I absolutely love Lux.
Not keen on Lulu, too cutesy.

I'd choose Prince and Lux.

River and Lulu (don’t like the Ryver spelling though)

Pixie grace and jasper river

Also Ryver wouldn’t be pronounced River.

I prefer names like...

Catherine and Samuel
Penelope and Sebastian
Miranda and Thomas
Meredith and Edward

I'm not overly keen on any of them I'm afraid. I think Phoenix and Nova (and Jasper and Grace) are all much more sophisticated than any of your suggestions for your DTs. I also think that Phoenix and Nova will suit your dc as they grow where as names like Prince and Pixie are quite childish.

Lulu is a great name if its short for something, Lucie/Lucia/Louisa etc, which also all go really well with Grace. I prefer River to Ryver, otherwise Rio meaning River could work?

River is fine if you spell it correctly. I don't understand why you would want to make up a new spelling.

I can't imagine a grown up woman wanting to introduce herself as any of your girl choices.

I do like your other children's names though.

Also Lux is a toiletry brand

I really dislike them all, so sorry ! I prefer the middle names you're going with as first names.

Actually wait, isn't River Phoenix a person ? So if you already have a Phoenix I probably wouldn't go with River

Ah ok so none none of them have went down particularly well

The middle names have been picked as they're people who are important to us but we don't love either of the names themselves so they definitely wont be used as first names

Jasper is lovely and I dont mind River when spelt correctly. I think both names go with your existing children’s names. I’m not sure about your girl names though. I would maybe have a rethink.

Do you like Juno for a girl ? Juno Grace sounds nice and it goes well with Phoenix and Nova

Of the girl names... pixie I suppose.

None of them, use the middle names as first names. The names on your list seem like much better middle names

Out of interest, why are you thinking of spelling River, Ryver?

They are all awful, sorry.

Think - in 10 years time you will have two 10 year olds. In 20 years time you will have two 20 years olds etc.

Do you really want them to be called Ryver and Lulu???

Are you pronouncing ryver rye ver? Or river? Either way I don't like any of the boys names nor girls, they're too far out for me. I love Nova though!

If I had to choose it would be River and Lulu!
