Just that really, what do you think of the name Lyra? It's to go with a fairly long surname beginning with B. Thanks in advance!

I wanted it for dd but dh was against it. I was a bit worried about the liar thing.

I teach an 11 year old Lyra. First thing I said was "oh I love his dark materials". She had no idea what that was and muttered something about the golden compass film.

I like it. I don't think there'll be a problem with the pronunciation
