Finding it really hard to find a pairing that sounds good.

I also thought Clare

Evangelina-Ivy was my daughter's much loved doll. If I had had another daughter then that would have been her name.

Posted my suggestion on your thread discussing Evangeline as a first name.

I think Evangeline Athena works.

Taylor's about Taylor? Btw, Evangeline is a lovely name!

ScienceIsTruth · 18/10/2018 00:36

*How about Taylor? That should've said!

AlliKaneErikson · 18/10/2018 01:13

Ruth is the first name I thought of too- odd that a few posters have mentioned it!

Zoflorabore · 18/10/2018 01:27

I would choose the month the baby is born as a middle name. I.e. Evangeline November.

Viviviolet · 18/10/2018 07:33

Thanks all, liking Astrid and Ivy

HalfBloodPrincess · 18/10/2018 13:54

Evangeline Juliet
Evangeline Martha
Evangeline Azalea

FendiJacket · 18/10/2018 18:17

Evangeline Claire is my favourite.

Joinourclub · 18/10/2018 18:22

I don’t think of Evangeline as a soft name at all. Yes it has lots of syllables, but it’s much stronger sounding than something like Arabella.

I agree. It's notable here that most have gone for middle names with one syllable. Evangeline is a very strong name and it doesn't need anything to compete or clash with it. Some of the suggestions here are lovely but I've got to be honest I think Evangeline Astrid is horrible - it sounds like some sort of chemical used in a lab, and Evangeline Ivy just doesn't hang together very well to my ears.

But each to their own. It all comes down to personal taste I guess.

TulipsInBloom1 · 18/10/2018 20:31

Evangeline Wren
Evangeline Blythe
Evangeline Jade

LynetteScavo · 18/10/2018 20:38

I was going to suggest Juno before you mentioned it.

Juliet?

Powerless · 18/10/2018 20:49

Rose

Decemberly · 20/10/2018 11:00

Evangeline is on our shortlist, if we do choose it she will be Evangeline Rosa

OublietteBravo · 20/10/2018 11:04

I like Evangeline Helen or Evangeline Jane.

RavenWings · 20/10/2018 16:50

Another one thinking Evangeline Astrid isn't good at all. Evangeline Ivy is nice - as pp said, a short name is best imo.

Evangeline Cara
Evangeline Naomi
Evangeline Gaia
Evangeline Zahra
Evangeline Lana
Evangeline Adele
Evangeline Aimee
Evangeline Etta
Evangeline Edie (although part of me thinks this and Etta would be far too matchy)
Evangeline Chiara
