For a boy - thoughts?

Very nice. It would be perfect with Louis.

HopeClearwater · 06/10/2018 12:32

Look up Remy Danton, the character in the US version of House of Cards. Sharp-dressed handsome chap. Lovely name.

lifechangesforever · 06/10/2018 12:37

I like it, but I do like it better for a girl Smile

Babynamechange123 · 06/10/2018 12:40

I have a girl Remi so I am biased but I adore the name.

Shadow1234 · 06/10/2018 13:58

Love the name, but prefer it for a girl.

Sungura · 06/10/2018 23:08

I know a couple that wanted a gender neutral name for their baby and they chose Remi. They had a girl.

Remy is perfect with a brother Louis, particularly if there is a French connection with the family. Very handsome.

RoomWithALoon · 07/10/2018 11:38

I knew a Remy and he was one of the loveliest students I ever taught. But - I kid you not - his surname was Martin. Just don't do that.

Sunflower321 · 07/10/2018 12:10

Isn't it Rémy?

Kokocarol · 07/10/2018 15:35

Oh how strange OP. I’ve got a Louis & am considering Remy for my second boy (due in 2 months). Out of interest what other names were you considering? We don’t have a French connection. Just like the way French names sound!

Duvetdaysbliss · 07/10/2018 16:32

Kokocarol - good to know the names are a good match! We don’t have a French connection Blush just like the names! The other names we have been considering for a boy are sonny, brodie, Rudy, albie.
What other names are on your shortlist??

I like Jude, Zack, Joseph, Joshua, Charlie. DH doesn’t like them all though. I think my parents & PIL will HATE Remy (which makes me want to go for it even more Grin

planestrains · 07/10/2018 20:26

I know a little Rémy, really like the name

TheDowagerCuntess · 08/10/2018 05:22

It's fine.

I wouldn't choose it, but wouldn't judge you for choosing it either.

It feels quite feminine to me, but that's not a bad thing (clearly).

I know one 7/8 YO boy with it.
