It's aged a bit too well where I'm from, there are loads, loads about same age as me and older. But I'm not from the UK originally! I'd say it's like Sarah, Emma or Louise

I always think someone 's forgotten to put the M at the start. Sounds lovely with a french accent. Not so great without.

I love it! A friend has just had twins and named one of them Elodie

It's nice enough but really similar to a lot of other names that are around at the mo (Ellie, Ella, Edie, Eloise, Emily).

Likely to be much more popular than you think.

Does the pronunciation rhyme with Melody?
It reads as though there is an M missing at the start
