What's everyone's thoughts on these two names:
Aza = Ay-za
Reina = Ray-na

For girls.

Any other suggestions too?

I know a Reina. I prefer Rana or Rania tbh.
Aza is ok. Nothing wow about it.

LegalEagle99 · 27/09/2018 20:58

I would pronounce Aza Aa-z-aa and it makes me think of the word 'Ass'.

LucyInTheParkWithDragons · 27/09/2018 21:00

I like Reina.

Are they anglicised versions of Urdu names? If so, I love Shaheen and Zorah, which have a similar vibe.

Aza sounds like a gangsters nick name.
Reina is nice. However I'd have thought it was pn Reena which reminds me of retna.
I'd spell it Rayna/Raina

GrumpySausage · 28/09/2018 12:05

Really like Reina. I considered Rayner (spelling to honour a family member) for my DD but didn't work with our surname.

I dont like either to be honest. Aza is particularly bad imo... Sorry! x

elizabetter · 28/09/2018 21:31

Same opinion as Dani

I like Laraina. Reina is fine, though. Kind of pretty. No to Aza. Name her Azalea if you're going to call her that. 😁😩
