I know. The OP didn’t say she wanted to use the name because she had connections with Tyneside, she asked for opinions on it as a name.

Not really a connection to the area here. I know of the River Tyne but actually based in the Isle of Man rather than the UK!

Tyne Daley, yes, it works for her. There's the river to contend with, however, and it always makes me think of the tines of a fork.
