Names with O in them

Looking for names that have the letter O in them - ideas for both genders welcome but mostly boy’s names are needed please!

We’ve started an unintentional (and until v. recently unnoticed) theme with our LO’s names (Aurora, Theo & Violet) and even our dog’s name is Bobby lol. I’m also fluttering my lashes at DH for a smaller pet to get to use my ultimate ‘guilty pleasure’ name, Elwood which fits in the theme WinkGrin

We like names that can be shortened (George is on the list but we can’t think of any shortened forms we could potentially use) and that are still different enough in sound (no Theo and Milo, for example) Thanks!

@catinboots9 I guess it’s not a huge deal... I’m just picky lol. We have considered Alexander and Arthur and that will be different sexes too.

Brook or Brooke?

Sessy19 · 19/09/2018 07:54

Does George need to be shortened...it’s only one syllable. Isn’t the point of shortening a name to make it quicker or easier to say??? If so, you can’t make George half a syllable.

I personally think George is boring, but if you like it and it fits ‘the criteria’, why not

pixieloux · 19/09/2018 13:05

@Sessy19 - That’s my point, it can’t really be shortened but all our children have NNs and I quite like the fact they do as well as that they’ve all worked out quite varied in style (potential NN Rory for Aurora, for example)... I’d like that they are able to choose what they want to go by.
