Baby boys name - help! Torban, Ezra or Lucas

Our second son was born yesterday. We had initially liked the name Torban but now he is here we are not sure if it is a bit ‘out there’. The other names we like are Ezra and Luca/Lucas Our first son is called Jackson.

Congratulations! Ezra is now rather common and I personally am not a fan. The other two/three are beautiful. Luca is my favourite.

I’ve only seen it spelled Torben. I think it’s ok but prefer Lucas.

I work with someone called Torben (like pp, that’s the only spelling I know). As he’s such a lovely guy I think it’s a fab name . I think it goes best with Jackson - which to my mind is slightly “out there” too (more so than Ezra or Lucas)

The reason we are looking at spelling it Torban rather than Torben is because our surname is Benfold and it seems strange to me to have Torben Benfold (Ben Ben)

My favourite on your list would be lucas. I also think it goes better
With your surname. (Just my opinion though).

Ezra would be my second choice on your list.

Luca is lovely. Not keen on Torban, it will get misheard as turban, and he'd always need to spell it out, which would be a pain.

A torban is a musical instrument, Torben in a name. Torben is a nice name

Congratulations! Lucas is the nicest on your list. Ezra is everywhere, but I don’t get the appeal of it at all.

Torrin is an interesting suggestion, or the other spelling Torin?

I don’t think torben works with your surname even if you spell it torban.

Luca is very cool and you don’t meet a lot of them.

Luca is gorgeous. Lucas and Ezra are both nice too, Luca or Lucas for me

Luca is beautiful and would definitely be my choice.

I like Ezra but I agree with previous posters it’s very popular now and the same for Lucas. Never heard of Torban but not keen and I don’t think it goes with your surname at all.

What about Torin? I much prefer it to Torban.

I prefer Lucas to Ezra and I’m not keen on Luca.
