LordOfTheFleas · 12/09/2018 20:05

Zigastian?

KalindaBlack · 12/09/2018 20:15

It is an awesome name but I immediately think Stardust.

Bobbybobbins · 12/09/2018 20:20

Zachary or Ezekiel would be good choices for a Ziggy non

ohdeardeardear · 12/09/2018 20:25

I have a dog called Ziggy

A580Hojas · 12/09/2018 20:56

Everyone thinks Ziggy Stardust. What is wrong with that?

SumAndSubstance · 13/09/2018 00:02

I know a Ziggy short for Zbigniew. He’s Polish though- not sure you could pull it off if you weren’t 😃

pnutter · 13/09/2018 00:04

mikapatika · 13/09/2018 00:15

Ziggy from Grange Hill

AnnieAnoniMoose · 13/09/2018 00:18

Ziggy?

I’d be looking for his twin.

Zaggy.

Sorry, to me it’s a daft popstar name, not a proper name.

Each to their own

Pieceofpurplesky · 13/09/2018 00:34

@ConsiderHerWaysAndOthers I know a Ziggy who was Peter - must be the same one. Lives in a village beginning with K?

moredoll · 13/09/2018 00:49

David

DurhamDurham · 13/09/2018 00:54

Makes me immediately think of David Bowie. But that's a good thing as the man's a legend.

Decanter · 13/09/2018 00:55

I think the Ziggy in Big Little Lies was called Ziegfield.

lavenderlove · 13/09/2018 14:54

There's a Ziggy in my ds class at school full name is Zachary. I like it!

ConsiderHerWaysAndOthers · 13/09/2018 15:17

Small world Piece... if it’s the same one, after all how many Ziggy/Peters can there be, I knew him when he lived in a town beginning with the letter ‘F’, haven’t seen him since school though so know idea what he’s doing now.

Snoopychildminder · 13/09/2018 15:23

I love Ziggy, but I would never be brave enough to use it. If you want your child to be known as that, thenbgo for it!

fenneltea · 13/09/2018 15:28

I think of it as a pets name, also worth trying to imagine a seventy year old with the name you want to use; but then it might be more common in the future anyway I suppose? Not one I would pick, but choose what you love.

andpeggy1 · 13/09/2018 15:47

I see this more of a nickname than an actual name.

Can't imagine a lawyer or doctor with a first name of ziggy

Ohyesiam · 13/09/2018 15:50

My cat’s called Ziggy. He is a beauty though.
