Maya or Ela?

Which one do you prefer? And which one is less popular nowadays? Ela with one 'l' as I would like a Polish spelling of this name. Opinions please!

Is Ela pronounced like "ella" or "ay-la"?

Ela is pronounced ee-la not like Ella!!

Polish pronunciation would be very similar to English Ella.

Sorry I don't like Amaya or Amiyah...

I know 2 Polish families, the girls are called Nina and Mila. Both very pretty and easy on the tongue

I thought I'd replied again last night but I can't see my message. I too suggested Mila as it has elements of Maya and Ela and I love that name. But I also like Maya, reminds me of Maia the Bee (cartoon) from when I was little.
