Thomas Cockle
Isaac Cockle
Sebastian Cockle
James Cockle

I think a classic, middle class name is best with Cockle.

DC2018 · 08/08/2018 18:20

I personally think longer names sound better with Cockle;
Zachary
Rupert
Alexander
Theodore
Benjamin
Nathaniel
Samuel
Daniel

CaptainCucumber · 08/08/2018 18:20

Oooh yes, Alexander Cockle is nice!

melissagabrielle · 08/08/2018 18:23

Jack, Dan, Xan, Tim, Tom, Dom... I think a one syllable name works really well

James

I'd avoid Alexander!

I think you need a big strong name to go with Cockle

Sebastian Cockle
Nathanial Cockle
George Cockle
Daniel Cockle

TBH it’s not a great surname. 😒

pipilangstrumpf · 09/08/2018 18:26

But these little no names often end up shortened and Seb Cockle isn't so nice.

I think a 2 syllable name that won't be shortened works best. Nathan Cockle for example

Aquamarine1029 · 09/08/2018 19:12

Hudson Cockle

imsorryiasked · 09/08/2018 19:14

I was going to say avoid "ck" sounds but actually I think Frederick Cockle sounds nice.

SamSmithYawnsWhenHeSings · 09/08/2018 19:17

Definitely not Isaac as suggested above!

RabbitsPikasAndHares · 09/08/2018 19:22

I think lean into the curve and go alliterative!

Callum Cockle
Christopher Cockle
Carsten Cockle
Clarence Cockle
Conner Cockle
Cody Cockle

SumAndSubstance · 09/08/2018 21:03

Alexander Cockle could be shortened to Sandy 😂 Sorry, OP... I like Thomas/Tom. There’s nothing funny about Tom (that I can think of...) Yes, definitely not Isaac - was that a joke?!

Threeandabit · 12/08/2018 13:20

Grant Cockle
Gareth Cockle
Simon Cockle
Gregory Cockle

We’re having a similar-ish dilemma now! Interested to hear what you went with, @chickacharlie?
