Looking for some perspective on a names discussion that is rapidly reaching stalemate with DH.
First daughter is called Orla Mhairi.
We are expecting another girl in December.
My absolute favourite was Imogen but this is unacceptable to DH so am trying to let it go.
Current options are:
Lena
Anya
Alanna
The middle name will be Mairead.
I like them all but feel like they are all a bit similar sounding to Orla (I am Laura which makes it even worse) and I don't really want rhymy-rhymy. But I would be surprised if we come up with anything else.
What do you think? What would you choose? Any other suggestions (ideally looking for a Scottish or Irish name. Lena is a family name and Anya is a bastardisation of Aine)
