Unusual Scottish or Nordic/Scandi girls names

Hi

Desperately looking for name suggestions for dd2. We used the only girls name we loved for dd1 who is called Ayla.

We like unusual and ideally Scottish or Nordic but doesn't have to be. Not really into the greek style names which usually crop up on unusual name websites.

Any suggestions gratefully received! Thanks

Erm, if by Ayla you liked Isla that's Scottish but not very unusual. Are you outside Scotland?

We are in Scotland, actually do like Isla but it is very similar to Ayla so looking for something that goes well but not too similar.

I love Iona but it doesn't go with our surname (also an object) so think long the lines of Iona Carr - I own a car Grin Very unfortunate

Was my Granny's name (she was half German, half English but brought up in Denmark 'cos of WW1).

Would've been a definite front runner if ds had been a dd Wink

Vaila, it's an island in Shetland so meets the Scottish/ Scandinavian criteria.
