Girl names for the surname Stephens

Hi all,
I will be having a baby girl in November and my DH and I are struggling with names. If you were having a baby girl and your last name was Stephens, what would you name her? My current shortlist consists of Elizabeth, Esme, Iris and Robyn but I am totally open to any suggestions. I also liked Alice but I think the 's' sound at the end blends into the 's' at the beginning of Stephens too much.
I have namechanged to try to preserve some anonymity!

I went to school with a Stephanie Stephens

LoveInTokyo · 01/08/2018 19:52

Rachel Stevens was in S Club 7.

Belindabauer · 01/08/2018 19:55

I like Elizabeth Stephens.

OreliaRoc · 01/08/2018 19:57

Wow, even more lovely suggestions. I'm not sure DH would be onboard with an S Club 7 inspired name, lovely as the name Rachel is!

I'm adding Jenna, Jennifer, Molly, Eliza and Delilah to my list. I still love the name Iris so
it's staying for now despite having the same 's' issues as Alice. It could always be baby's middle name I suppose!

Blossom

Blossom is a ridiculous name.

Annabel is a good one.

Threeandabit · 01/08/2018 23:06

Not much different to Summer, Daisy, Poppy etc in style, and they're popular enough names.

It was only a suggestion.

LoveInTokyo · 01/08/2018 23:11

I find all those names quite twee but at least an adult woman could go around saying, “Hi, I’m Daisy, nice to meet you” without people smirking.

Blossom is a whole different level of twee.

Saw your post and thought of Martha.
Don't know why, but I like the sound of it with Stephens!

Threeandabit · 01/08/2018 23:15

When I saw your thread title I was thinking Esme! Lovely name, Esme Stephens.

StrawberryCat · 02/08/2018 11:03

I worked with an Alice Stevens a long time ago! I dont see the issue with the sounds really. I do see what you mean, but just do not see it as a problem. I think you're over thinking it!

All your names are nice but Robyn goes best with Stephens. I think you need something without an s. Disclaimer= I have a Robyn myself, it's my favourite name!
