Boys name shortlist - Jasper/Sebastian/Toby

Our baby boy is due at the start of October and we haven't been able to decide on a name. What does everyone think of..

• Toby

We also like but aren't sure on:

• Frederick
• Ethan
• Finn
• Henry

I also really like Rory but our surname is Warren so we can't go with anything with too many 'R's!

Jasper - love
Toby - like it less, doesn’t feel like a ‘full’ name for some reason
Frederick - love
Ethan - bit too American for me
Finn - like this. But what would it be short for? Finnegan/Finbar/Finlay? Or on its own?
Henry - as above

I like Finn, Henry and Toby best from your list. Love Rory too, but I agree that sadly it doesn't work with Warren.

Jasper is nice as well though, a bit more unusual.

Jasper says carrot 🥕 to me, but probably just showing my age there.

Jasper and Sebastian are great, Ethan is ghastly. Finn is nice but very very popular.

Love Jasper, Toby is okay and despise Sebastian.

Quite like Finn but not sure about Finn Warren, it sounds like it houses a Finn Rabbit.

Just to give you a heads up OP, toddler rooms are bursting with Finns st the moment.

I love Tobias. You can still go with Toby as a nickname but it gives you more options.

I like Tobias instead of Toby as well. Also Sebastian and Frederick. Not wild on Jasper but that's just because I knew bad one once. Agree with Finn being very popular ATM but if that doesn't bother you then I think it's a nice name. Sebastian would be my top choice from your list.
