Katherine, Dorothy, any other suggestions?

I would like a Katherine (Kitty as a NN) but also quite like Dorothy (Dora) and Bryony if we have another girl. Which do you prefer and any other name suggestions of this type of name?

Katherine and Dorothy are both lovely. They'd also go well as first and middle name in either order. I like Bryony less and 'Bry' is not a nice diminutive.

Dorothea
Theodora (Thea/Dora)
Beatrice/Beatrix (Bea)
Henrietta (Etta, Hettie)
Harriet
Margaret (Greta, Margot)
Edith

Eleanor (Nell, Nora)
Hazel

❤️ Katherine.
How about Briar, instead of Bryony.

Katherine is lovely

I really like Katherine and Bryony. Dorothy is ok but I'm less keen.

I'm sensing that you might like solidly classic but underused?
How about:

Alison, Caroline, Christina, Catriona, Daphne, Emma, Frances, Henrietta, Juliet, Josephine, Jacqueline, Lucinda, Lillian, Lavinia, Miranda, Marianne, Natasha, Philippa, Ruth, Rosemary, Rosalie, Stephanie, Sylvia, Tabitha, Vanessa, Winifred

Juliet is a very good call. I think Judith is under used personally.

Interesting that Louisa has been suggested a few times this is my DDs name :-)
We have nieces and cousins with a couple of other suggested names. I like Jemima but DH has vetoed it.
We have a long surname so I'd prefer a name of 6 letters or less ideally :-)

Another vote for Katherine.
Like Dora but not Dorothy.
Bryony sounds like an adjective. Bryonish?

Katherine is more timeless, whereas Dorothy is an old lady name which was out of fashion for a couple of generations, is now hip again, and will be out of fashion again within a few years. (I also think Dotty and Dolly are really twee and don't work on an adult, whereas Dot makes me think of Dot Cotton, so the nickname options aren't great.)
